The Three Bears

Upper Waikani Falls also known as The Three Bears

Sorry this is not the story of Goldilocks and The Three Bears but of a beautiful triple waterfall located just off the Road to Hana in Maui. Many times in life your timing may be just a little off as we arrived at this magnificent falls about mid day. The sun was almost directly overhead and plenty of visitors that didn't mind swimming into my shot. But sometimes you just have to take the shot.

 The week we were in Maui I drove the road to Hana three times, or at least I attempted to. The road is legendary with it's 620 curves and 59 bridges. Many of the sections of roadway are one lane only. Hana is 52 miles from Kahului. That's where you'll arrive at the Maui airport. The first day I got 10 miles down the Road to Hana and we were poured on, still we got some memorable photos and decided to call it a day as the rain was not going to stop. I had better luck on the second and third attempt.  I'll share some more photos and stories as time permits. Thanks for looking!
