Thinking

"The Tree"

I fell in love with this tree. It's on the trail to Mirror Lake in Yosemite National Park. It's an easy 2.4 mile round trip hike from the trailhead to Mirror Lake itself. When Serena and I showed up there were several photographers working the area and even  someone with an easel painting the tree and I could see why. I would have sat in this spot all day listening to the rushing water and all the birds singing overhead. Some places are pretty special to just sit and think and soak in nature and this was one of them. Photography gives me a chance to not only share with you what I see but also I hope to convey what it felt like to be there in person. It also gives me the chance to do some hiking which I love and of course follow my passion of photography.
Our planet has some beautiful places to enjoy, I hope that you are taking some time to go out in nature with your family or friends or maybe even just your dog. Go out and try to relax, let your worries and stress from the weeks work escape your mind. Enjoy what nature has to offer!

"Alone"

This photograph was taken on the coast of California between the city of Carmel and the famous golf course Pebble Beach. Another place I could imagine myself sitting and contemplating life and all it has to offer. To me just being in nature with camera in hand is quite fulfilling, I don't need much else. I enjoy leading a simple life.
Thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoyed these photos and I also hope to see you again soon!
